ACO2 - Australian Chamber Orchestra
Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre
Wednesday 10 February, 8.00pm

Information
ACO2 is the precocious little sister of Australia’s finest orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra. ACO2 connects talented young Australian musicians with the stars of the ACO, creating a combined ensemble with a fresh, energetic performance style.
English music is famous for being both stirring and nostalgic, even when written by Germans! Hear some of the best in this concert that stretches from the vigorous Baroque music of Handel to luscious Elgar. Also a work actually written for the ACO, Smalley’s South American-style Footwork.
Handel - Concerto Grosso Op.6, No.5
Hindemith - Trauermusik (Solo Viola: Stefanie Farrands)
Elgar - Introduction and Allegro
Smalley - Footwork
Britten - Variations on a theme by Frank Bridge
Don’t miss ACO2’s first tour of Western Australia.
