- What does BREC stand for?
- Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre
- Where are you located?
- Our street address is 2 Blair Street Bunbury. It is on the corner of Blair and Symmons Street, between the Grand Cinemas and the Bunbury Visitors Centre. You can view a map here - map
- What accommodation is near by?
- Quest Apartments, The Lord Forrest Hotel and The Clifton are located a short 5 minute walk from the Entertainment Centre.
- What restaurants are near by?
- Mojo’s restaurant is located to the rear of the Entertainment Centre and provides dine in and take away meals for breakfast, lunch and tea or a late night coffee and snack.
- What transport is available to the Entertainment Centre?
- The Entertainment Centre is next to the main bus depot in Bunbury which has buses constantly en route from the Centre of Bunbury to the outskirts. There are also two taxi company’s available for transport throughout Bunbury.
- How do I book tickets?
- You can book tickets in person at the Box Office, over the phone by Credit Card, online via fax or email.
- Are you open on the weekends?
- Administration hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

The Box Office, bar and coffee bar are open 45 minutes prior to a performance. - Can I Lay-By my tickets?
- Yes we have a Lay-By system. We require a small deposit at the time of booking and then regular payment until the full amount is paid off. The full amount is to be paid one week prior to the performance.
- Can I get a refund on my tickets?
- In line with the Australian Ticketing Code of Practise, no refunds are given unless the performance in cancelled. In the event of a performance cancelling, BREC will make contact with you and issue a refund.
- Can I change seats after I have purchased them?
- You can change your seats to a performance once they have been booked. If the tickets have been paid for and you want to change them, we require the tickets to be returned to the Box office and an exchange fee will apply to the new tickets. This fee varies from each performance, check with the Box Office.
- What do I do if I lose my tickets?
- If tickets are lost, they can be replaced, however not straight away. You will need to report the lost tickets to the Box Office, on the night of the performance, the Box office staff will ensure those seats haven’t been taken and will then re issue the tickets.
- What do I do if my tickets are stolen?
- If your tickets are stolen, you need to report it to the Police and then notify the Box Office staff of the situation. A record of your transaction is taken, this is why we ask for your details when making a booking. On the night of the performance, the Box office staff will ensure those seats haven’t been taken and will then re issue the tickets.
- How do I find out what is coming up at the Entertainment Centre?
- The website is regularly updated with all of the shows that are on sale. We also issue a bi-monthly programme of events coming up at BREC. This is sent to our BREC Club members or is available to the public at the Entertainment Centre and certain shops around town.
- What is the BREC Club?
- The BREC Club is the Friends of the Theatre group. They provide the invaluable duties of Front of House to all events at the Centre. As a BREC Club member you receive discounts on tickets to every performance or film at the Entertainment Centre along with other discounts with local shops and organisations. You also receive our bi-monthly programme of events sent out every second month.
- What counts as a Concession?
- A concession rate applies to someone who holds a concession card. This includes a Centrelink Health Care Card, Aged Pension Card, WA Seniors Card, Disability Pension Card or War Veterans Pension Card. However some events will have more specific criteria, for example it may only accept Aged Pension Cards. Check with the Box Office staff when booking.
- How can I pay for tickets?
- You can play for your tickets by cash, credit card, cheque or money order.
- Is there a bar?
- Yes There is a licensed bar that operates on most shows, opening 45 minutes before a performance begins and during the interval (if the performance has one).
- Can you take food and drink into the auditorium?
- Food and Drinks are not permitted in the auditorium for live performances.
- Is there parking available? Do I have to pay for parking?
- Yes. There is parking available on either side of the Entertainment Centre. This is a council run car park and there is paid parking during the hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
- Is there wheelchair access?
- Yes. Wheelchair access to the building is available. Wheelchair seating in the auditorium is limited so you need to make Box Office staff aware of your wheel chair requirements at the time of booking.
- How long before a show do I need to arrive?
- The Centre opens 45 minutes prior to the performance; you can arrive any time during those 45 minutes.
- If I arrive late can I still get into the show?
- Usually, you can enter the auditorium after the performance has commenced. However some shows stipulate no late comers be allowed to enter the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance (this may be interval).
- Can I get tickets upstairs?
- If the Dress Circle has been opened, you can purchase tickets for upstairs. In some cases, the upstairs seating is not opened in which case seats can not be purchased.
- How many seats are available?
- There are 810 seats available in the auditorium.
- Can I take a camera into the auditorium?
- No. Cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in the auditorium at any time
- Are there tea and coffee facilities?
- Usually, the coffee bar will open before a performance and during interval (if the performance has one).
- Do you sell gift vouchers?
- Yes. We have gift vouchers available for purchase at any time during the year. These can be for the amount that you prefer and can be personalised with a message from you.
- Do you have a newsletter?
- We have a bi-monthly programme of events that is available every two months. It contains an outline and description of upcoming events. We also send out email updates, that give news of upcoming events. You can subscribe to these email updates on our home page.
- Can I buy tickets online?
- Yes. You can purchase tickets online using a credit card only.
- Which Credit Card can I use to book tickets?
- You can use any cards except Diners cards.
- Can I take my pram into the auditorium?
- Prams are not permitted in the auditorium. They can be left in the foyer in a suitable and safe place.
- How do I find out what is coming 6 – 12 months ahead?
- The website contains all the shows that are on sale and available to the public at one time. Events may not be booked or confirmed so far in advance.
- Can my child sit on my knee?
- Children under the age of 2 are allowed to be nursed by a parent or guardian. Children over the age of 2 are required to purchase a seat. We ask you to be aware of the patrons seated behind you when nursing an infant to ensure the view is not obstructed.
- Can I hire the venue?

- Can I hold a function at the Entertainment Centre?
- Yes. You can host a Function at the Entertainment Centre providing it is available, contact the Centre Manager. mail@bunburyentertainment.com
- Do you have hard of hearing units?
- Yes. Hard of hearing units are available free of charge, so people with hearing difficulties will now find it easier to enjoy live shows and movies. The units provide a more personal control of the volume, making it easier to hear dialogue or music, and can be used at any seat in the house. Please request a unit when you make your booking.
- What are early bird discounts?
- Early Bird discounts apply to selected shows and are usually available from 10 to 6 weeks prior to the performance. The early bird discount is available to all ticket price groups except children.
- Do I get a discount for booking as a group?
- Yes. On selected shows there is a group booking discount. Ask at the Box Office at the time of booking.
- Where can I find a seating plan?
- You can view a seating plan under our events tab or click on seating plan or on page 23 of the telephone book.
- How can I see what shows are on sale?
- All shows that are on sale are listed under the events tab or click on events.
