Bunbury's golden girl Natalie Barr is our guest of honour and will MC our Grand Opening Community Concert on Saturday 26 July at 7pm in celebration of the Grand Opening of the newly expanded and refurbished BREC.
"I'm hugely excited to be coming back to Bunbury to share in the excitement at the opening of the new Entertainment Centre," Natalie said.
Tickets for this fantastic event go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Friday 27 June). Those who are in line on the morning will go into the draw to win a VIP upgrade! VIP winners will get the chance to meet the stars and enjoy nibbles and local wines at an exclusive pre-show function in the Sky Bar Foyer.
For the low price of just $20 per ticket, members of the South West community are invited to bring along the whole family to see a host of fantastic Australian performers including comedian Peter Rowsthorn (Kath & Kim) and Swing On This, starring Michael Falzon (We Will Rock You, Rock of Ages), Luke Kennedy (The Voice, The Ten Tenors), Matt Lee (So You Think You Can Dance, Mary Poppins) and Ben Mingay (Wonderland, An Officer and a Gentleman). Fresh from their sell-out show in Adelaide, Swing On This is a full-scale cabaret feast accompanied by an 18-piece big band.
Tickets for this fantastic event are valued at over $100, making this our gift to the community.
"The community concert is BREC's thank you to the community. Ticket prices have been kept low to make it an affordable night for families. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone and present this awesome showcase of some of Australia's finest performers," BREC General Manager Joel McGuinness said.
"Be sure to get your tickets quickly, this will be sure to sell out!"
The Grand Opening Community Concert is presented by Alcoa of Australia.
