Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre is proud to announce that BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina has recently come on board as the Centre's Major Artistic Partner until 2019.
Worsley's six-year sponsorship will assist with the internal fit-out of the newly expanded Centre.
Worsley Asset President Ricus Grimbeek said the partnership represented an opportunity for Worsley to give back to the communities that had supported the business for so many years.
"We believe the partnership will help bring a diverse range of exciting performing arts and entertainment to the region," Mr Grimbeek said.
BREC General Manager Joel McGuinness said the centre was excited to partner with Worsley in creating a stunning facility for the entire region, featuring an 810-seat auditorium, 250-seat theatre and numerous lounge and meeting spaces.
"I am so excited and thrilled to welcome Worsley to BREC as our Major Artistic Partner," Mr McGuinness said.
"This partnership is so crucial in enabling BREC to purchase equipment and capital items for our new Centre and will ensure that the whole community can access a world class facility in our own backyard.
"The team at Worsley has been absolutely fantastic to work with and it is clear that Worsley is so committed to the region, to our community and to ensuring great access to arts and cultural experiences for their employees and all residents in the South West."
