Take a trip Around the World in 80 minutes with Bunbury's beloved South West Philharmonic and the Bunbury City Band! The Family Proms Concert is back by popular demand to provide an afternoon of fun family entertainment not to be missed.

This year's Family Proms Concert is sure to delight the whole family with a unique and interactive afternoon of music where you're encouraged to clap your hands, tap your toes and shake those noisemakers!

The event will showcase all of your traditional Proms classics as well as some of the finest tunes from all four corners of the globe and beyond. Bunbury City Band and South West Philharmonic will be joined by special guests South West Opera Company and two nine year old violin soloists, Naomi King and Isadore Farnworth.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their party hats, blowers and noisemakers for a true proms style musical celebration!

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

The South West Philharmonic aims to foster excellence and innovation in the performance and presentation of classical music, and to provide concerts that educate, entertain, and inspire the community.

The Bunbury City Band celebrates its 110th anniversary this year- a huge milestone for the band. The Bunbury City Band is a traditional British Brass Band consisting of 25 parts, and the members come from all walks of life ranging from school students to retirees.

The Bunbury City Band also operate as a marching band faithfully serving many civic and community functions such as Australia Day celebrations and ANZAC Day. The band enjoys performing all types of music from classics through to pop, folk and jazz.
