Incredible costumes and sprightly dancers bring to life this classic story by Prokofiev. Written as a child’s introduction to the orchestra, with each character represented by an instrument or group of instruments. Beautiful music that’s rhythmical and memorable, and dance that has a lot of slapstick humour that particularly appeals to early primary students.

Peter and the Wolf
Children and the young at heart will love West Australian Ballet’s fun adaptation of the classic fairy tale, Peter and the Wolf!
Created especially for three to six-year-olds, discover the magic of ballet with this 30-minute children’s ballet. We follow the story of young scout Peter as he ventures beyond the garden gate and encounters a wolf! Peter must work with his other animal friends to catch the scary creature. Filled with charm, colour and excitement, this fairy-tale ballet is not to be missed. Join us after the performance for a fun activity!
You can also see your State Ballet Company perform their most-loved works in A Gala Evening with West Australian Ballet at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on 31st March at 7.30pm.
