Learn to use movement and dance as a tool for engagement in the classroom.
Join dance educator Rachael Bott of Creative Moves for a practical workshop full of activities and strategies for using movement and dance as a tool for engagement and learning in the classroom.
Active, whole-body learning is an effective way to enhance learning across the entire curriculum and can be used in all subject areas. In this workshop, participants will learn tools that can be applied directly into the classroom for brain breaks, unit introductions or hooks, and knowledge application. No dance experience is required as the strategies utilise creative movement and dance processes.
