Brian and Charles (PG)

Some Friendships Are Built to Last

Brian, a lonely inventor in rural Wales, spends his days building quirky, unconventional contraptions that seldom work. Depressed after a harsh winter, Brian does what any sane person would do – builds a robot out of spare parts in his sheep shed. What follows is a heartwarming story about loneliness, friendship, finding love, and letting go.

It’s the bromance of the year.
★★★★
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

The result has homemade charm to spare, proving delightfully ridiculous but also poignant.
Kevin Maher, The Observer
