Calling local musicians and guitar students
In an open 90 minute masterclass, three local guitar players will have the opportunity to perform for internationally renowned classical guitarists Johannes Möller and Laura Fraticelli, and receive tuition while an audience looks on. Join us for an afternoon of music and learning with our generous and talented guests from Duo Moller-Fraticelli before their evening concert in Stage One.
Meet The Tutors
The Swedish guitarist and composer Johannes Möller has captivated audiences throughout the world with charismatic and soulful performances. He played his first public concerts when he was 13 years old. In 2010 he won first prize in the Concert Artist Competition Guitar Foundation of America (GFA), considered the most prestigious classical guitar competition in the world.
Being born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Laura Fraticelli studied with Walter Ujaldón and Eduardo Fernández. The love for music gave her the courage to emigrate to Europe where she continued her studies at the Royal College of Music in London and then later at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She has been praised for her beautiful tone and passionate interpretations.
Expressions of interest to perform for Duo Moller-Fraticelli and receive feedback/teaching are invited from children, young people and adults.
Players/students need to be well prepared and confident to benefit from the masterclass. You may play the piece of your choice.
Please complete and submit the online EOI before 5pm, Friday 8th February. A member of our team will be in touch with more information if you are selected to perform. Enquiries regarding your EOI can be made by calling our Engagement Producer on 08 9792 3136.
Audience members are welcome to observe the workshop and this is free of charge.
