MEET Jenelle, one of BREC’s Board Members
How long have you been a member of the BREC board and what expertise / experience do you bring to the role?
I’ve been a Board member with BREC for about seven years in total. I first started on the Board back in 2008 when Graham Harvey was the Manager and before BREC’s fabulous extension, The Cube, was built.
My background is in community and cultural development, public relations and events management with 17 years of experience in London, Toronto, Melbourne, Perth and now Bunbury.
What’s your favourite part of being a part of the BREC Board of Management?
I love being part of an organisation with roots so deep in its community. BREC’s volunteers are testament to this and I believe are BREC’s most valuable asset. They donate hours of their time every year to help deliver BREC’s stellar program. As a not-for-profit organisation, BREC simply couldn’t operate without them.
Please share your most memorable show, event or experience you’ve had at the BREC?

I really love the diversity of activities, programs and shows that BREC offers the people of the South West and the unique opportunities it provides to new and emerging performing artists in the region.
