What is your role at BREC and how long have you worked here?

My role at BREC is Lighting Technician. I have been at BREC on and off for the past 20 years.

What is your favourite part of working at BREC?

My favourite role at BREC is Designing and Operating lighting for shows. I love designing for theatrical shows and am currently in the design process for Les Miserables.

What was your favourite show, event or experience at BREC?

Many years ago we did a show for Oz Opera called El Cina. This has always stuck out as being a favourite show because of the challenging technical nature of the production. This show had everything in it. Flown set (4 x Flymen all operating together), revolves, folding set, gas powered flame effects. (real fire on stage), rain (real water) and one of the best lighting designs I have ever seen. Theatre at its most complex and engaging. When all the Technical aspects come together to make a seamless stage show that looks effortless, this is great theatre.
