1. The Classical Boffin
If dad has a passion for classical music, treat him to an evening of exquisite music from the acclaimed violinist Peter Tanfield and prize winning pianist Shan Deng. The world-class duo perform an impressive repertoire from some of the worlds’ greatest composers, including French impressionist composer Claude Debussy and Belgian violinist and composer Eugene Ysaye. As well as Norwegian composer Edvard Greig and revolutionary tango musician and composer Astor Piazzolla.

Returning to BREC this October with a brand new concert spectacular The Glenn Miller Orchestra perform their famous mix of timeless classics and upbeat favourites from the 1940’s Golden Era of Swing supported by singers and dazzling dance routines from the Broadway Swing Dancers.

After multiple sell-out seasons at Fringe World, the award-nominated comedy hypnotist Matt Hale is heading to BREC with his hilarious new show that promises to leave you feeling ridiculously happy inside! And who doesn’t want a happy dad?

4. The Groovy Gramps
This October, we welcome back BREC’s Morning Melodies with the smash hit, What’s New Pussycat! Performed by Australia’s favourite cabaret duo, this joyous, foot stamping, hand clapping celebration of the swinging sixties includes favourite hits from the era of Time Jones, The Mamas and the Papas, Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield. The afternoon matinee show event includes a delicious complimentary morning tea before the show!
