Bus Drop-Off & Parking
Please let us know which bus company you’re using so we can help manage traffic and parking on the day. The City of Bunbury allows buses to double park on the painted mural on Blair Street, for drop off and pick up right outside BREC – no road crossing required.
There’s no bus parking in the carpark at BREC, but buses can park nearby at Jetty Baths, Koombana Bay, or Ocean Drive.
Leave bags behind
Where possible, we ask schools to leave student bags on the bus or at school. We understand some bags may be needed for medical or support reasons – just bring only what’s essential to keep the venue clear and comfortable for all.
Water Bottles
To avoid distractions (and spills!), we recommend that teachers hold onto water bottles during the show and hand them out only if needed. While hydration is important, a room full of bottles can lead to some very creative – but unhelpful – water bottle percussion!
Smart Watches & Devices
Please ensure students leave light-up smart watches and phones behind or switched off and away. Even small screens lighting up during the show can be a big distraction for performers and fellow audience members.
Snacks & Noise
Try to avoid crinkly wrappers or noisy plastic packaging if your students are bringing snacks. These sounds carry easily and can disrupt the performance experience for everyone.
Arrive Early
Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before showtime so your group has time to get seated and settled before the performance begins.
