The Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC) is a much loved, multi-award-winning performing arts and conference venue that has been at the heart of Bunbury and the South West since 1990.Owned by the City of Bunbury and managed by a not-for-profit association with an active volunteer Board, BREC includes a 790-seat main auditorium, a 242-seat studio theatre, and a suite of flexible conference and event spaces.

Each year, we deliver a diverse mix of business events, live performances, film festivals, creative learning, community engagement and regional performance industry capacity building — attracting patrons and participants from across the region and beyond.

Box Office Coordinator
The Box Office Coordinator plays a key role within the BREC Experience Team, ensuring the smooth, accurate, and customer-focused delivery of all ticketing, box office, and reception services.
The role maintains high standards of service and efficiency, manages the operation of BREC’s ticketing system (Ferve), and provides timely data and reporting to support programming and audience development.
Working collaboratively across all BREC teams, the position contributes to BREC’s Purpose of bringing people together to share exceptional experiences by providing a professional, welcoming, and memorable experience for every patron, client, artist and all stakeholders.
The position is rostered, with both weekday and regular after hours and weekend work required.

Casual Production Technicians – Live Performance and Events
As one of Australia’s leading entertainment venues, BREC hosts a diverse range of live performances, business events, and community gatherings.
Seeing over 60,000 visitors each year, working here is fast-paced and dynamic. The centre delivers over 200 events annually, including theatre productions, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, award ceremonies, and private functions.
BREC is looking to bring on a number of enthusiastic casual technicians to support the production team. The ideal candidates will have experience in both live performance and corporate events, demonstrating a high standard of technical work alongside excellent customer service skills. Shifts are available both weekdays and after hours. Candidates without experience, who are over 18 years old, can demonstrate a strong work ethic and have a passion for arts/events may be also be considered.
A strong interest in all areas of production—such as lighting, sound, audiovisual, cinema operation, and staging—is required, with an awareness of current industry technology. Experience in live sound and lighting is highly desirable.
Applicants should be confident team players capable of working independently, staying calm under pressure, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills quickly are also key attributes.
All shifts are subject to availability. Casual workers are under no obligation to work the shifts offered and BREC is under no obligation to offer work on a regular basis.

Casual Event Hospitality Staff
Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre is on the lookout for energetic hospitality all-rounders for a range of casual shifts with the BREC Events team.
At BREC we host everything from VIP pre-show events, conferences and exhibitions to award ceremonies, gala dinners and end of life celebrations.
We are committed to excellent customer service, and welcome applications from anyone who: thrives in a fast paced workplace; is happy to work collaboratively but can also get a job done alone if needs be; believes in doing the job right; likes people; has a strong ability to solve problems and can learn new skills quickly.
Preferably candidates will have relevant experience in the hospitality industry (back or front of house, bar service), and we are also looking for casual duty and front of house managers to work a wide range events and shifts. RSA Certificate holders are preferred but not essential. Approved Manager Certificate required for Duty or FOH Manager shifts.
