About Philharmonic South West Orchestra

Based in Bunbury, Western Australia, the Philharmonic South West Orchestra (PSWO) is a passionate, 55-piece volunteer ensemble dedicated to enriching the local community through the magic of live music. Established in 2009, our diverse family of musicians ranges from teenagers to seniors in their 80s, traveling from all across the South West region to play together. PSWO strives to make ‘fine’ orchestral music accessible, educational, and deeply enjoyable for everyone. Whether we are playing timeless classical masterpieces or beloved film scores, our mission is to inspire, connect, and introduce audiences of all ages to the extraordinary world of orchestral music.
