BREC and Yaka Dandjoo Events invite community to gather here for a FREE EVENT to share a bite to eat, have a yarn and enjoy a First Nations movie LIKE MY BROTHER (G) in celebration of NAIDOC Week 2025. 

In this documentary filmed over six years, four talented Tiwi Island Indigenous girls dream of AFLW stardom, and with the support of their community, must overcome the physical and social obstacles standing in their way.  An inspirational story of human endurance, ancient resilience and the power of sport to act as a force for change, the girls find themselves redefining success on their own terms and becoming an inspiration for the next generation of their community. 

Arrive early from 5:30pm to enjoy a sausage roll, party pie, tea, coffee or hot chocolate as we have a yarn and celebrate NAIDOC WEEK 2025: The Next Generation | Strength, Vision and Legacy. 

The movie screening will commence at 6:30pm.  Tickets are only available on the door from 5:30pm until they run out. There are only a limited 242 tickets available, so arrive early to not miss out!
