Technical Workshops for Secondary Schools
Introducing students to the fundamentals of technical audio and lighting environments for theatre
- Student numbers: ideally 5-15 (max. 20) aged 15+ with min. 1 teachers
- Workshop length: 2.5 hours with option of weekday morning or afternoon sessions
- Suitable for art, music, drama and English students interested in theatre production
- All workshops include 30 minute BREC backstage theatre tour of Stage One and The Cube
- Pre-workshop classroom activities and templates to plan and prepare provided on booking
- Includes optional free pre-workshop 30 min teacher briefing at BREC with technical staff member
- Hosted by BREC’s experienced theatre industry professionals sharing production tips and tricks
- Workshops may include flashing lights, loud noises and heights, please call to discuss your needs
