Romeo & Juliet remains a rollercoaster ride of passion and violence, and a tale that, generations on, still resonates with audiences of all ages. This passionate portrayal of Romeo & Juliet will bring you closer than ever before to the intensity and the heartbreak of Shakespeare’s most evocative tragedy.

An evening excursion to see this classic is a perfect opportunity to whet your students’ appetite for Shakespeare, with Bell Shakespeare’s productions always leaping off the page onto the stage, making the Bard’s work accessible, relatable and exciting for teenagers. Although there is no daytime performance possible, the impact this production will have on any student studying this classic play will last a lifetime.

  FOR SCHOOL YEARS 9 – 12

  TEACHER RESOURCES  An Education Kit will be provided including classroom ready Pre-Show and Post-Show activities.

  CONTENT WARNINGS  Please be advised that Shakespeare’s original play contains depictions of violence, murder, sexual references, and suicide. We recommend that adults bringing young people to the production take the time to discuss the plot and themes of Romeo and Juliet with them prior to attending.

Peter Evans’s critically acclaimed production of the greatest love story ever told returns to stages in 2025. Introducing the magnetic Madeline Li as Juliet, this exquisite production is not to be missed.
