a Shows on the Go tour of It's A Rap: Zero Emcee & Razzy Mak
A NOTE FROM BREC’S CREATIVE LEARNING COORDINATOR
Get ready for hard-hitting original tracks, freestyle rap, soulful hooks, tight rhythms and infectious energy as Zero Emcee and Razzy Mak join forces with a live jazz band. Expect razor-sharp lyrics, dynamic beats and plenty of crowd interaction in a show that moves from head-nod grooves to hands-in-the-air anthems!
Drawing on a musical genre students know and love, It’s A Rap explores the power of rhythm, rhyme and storytelling while introducing the exciting sounds of jazz. A fantastic way to bring an English poetry unit to life, students can discover how language and music combine to express ideas, tell stories and connect with audiences. A post-show Q&A offers the opportunity to engage directly with the artists.
